Red Dead Redemption down to £8.24 in this week’s Xbox Deals with Gold

If you’re an Xbox owner that is currently struggling with the five-month wait for Red Dead Redemption 2, you can run the risk of treating yourself to the original RDR and spoiling your proverbial dinner later in the year. That said, a copy of Red Dead Redemption – which is not only backwards compatible, but enhanced in 4K for Xbox One X as well – for less than £9 is hard to pass up.

Red Dead is down to £8.24 at the moment, while the Undead Nightmare DLC pack will set you back another £6.75. Worth it just for that Bigfoot side quest.

I’d also never forgive myself if I didn’t take the time to point out that you can pick up a backwards compatible copy of the Xbox 360 version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for £3.37, arguably the best Castlevania game and absolutely the one with the best/worst voice acting. It also features a sentient sword that shouts ‘slash’ when it attacks. I mean, come on.

As for Xbox One titles specifically, you can pick up various bits of Fallout 4’s DLC from £2.39 per pack, FIFA 18 is down to £19.80, Dirt 4 is £16.50, Limbo is discounted to £1.60 and Inside is only £6.40. If that wasn’t enough, you can find Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite for £16.49, Star Wars Battlefront 2 for £24, Farming Simulator 17 for £8, the ill-fated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 for £9.90 and Rainbow Six Siege Advanced Edition for £20.

Let me also direct your attention to the real show-stopper here – Horse Racing 16, which can be yours for a mere £1.20 this very week. Beautiful.

Over at Jelly Deals, you can check out the freshly updated guide to the best external hard drive for Xbox One and save some cash on one while you’re at it. You can also check out the batch of yesterday’s best deals, most of which are still live, including Blade Runner 2049 for £9.99 on blu-ray and more.
